Miranda: medium height, medium build, with a pleasent, unremarkable face
which leaves no particular lasting impressions. Judging from her
eyebrows, her short hair is naturally a mid-brown, but it has been dyed
in narrow strands in every hair colour from white-blonde to blue-black.
Her eyes are blue and her teeth, revealed in a habitual friendly
smile, are white and even. She is dressed in smart-casual black trousers and top and flat black shoes. She wears little make-up and her neat, short nails are unpainted.
The Watcher: About the size of a small turkey, the Watcher looks to be part vulture, part bat and part nightmare. It's scaly, slimy skin is grey and wrinkled, sporting tufts of feather here and there and it has ragged bat-wings tipped with claws. A vulture's long scrawny neck and head do nothing to improve it's appearance. It sits beside the cash register, it's mad, red eyes blinking nervously.

Patrons
Halcona de la Fuega: She is about 5' 4", with long dark hair swept out of her
face by a leopard spotted barette at the nape of her neck and brown eyes, with cinnamon skin. She carries herself like a business woman, but she is dressed casually in a brown
turtleneck. At her table by the fire is flashy laptop computer and what looks like a glass of brandy.
Blaze: a lean, fit-looking fella, slightly taller than
average (though not by the WGP's averages) with an
inordinate amount of fiery red hair that usually falls to
halfway down his back; right now, though, it's carefully
tied to stop it getting in the way. He walks with an
intangible air of energy - almost joie de vivre, but
something else as well - and keen brown eyes peer out
from his sooty face.
In fact, most of him is covered in soot right now, and
he's wearing a fireman's fluorescent overalls with thick
boots; a hard-hat dangles from one hand, when he's
not twirling it to see how fast it will spin.
Edward Smith: wearing
a rumpled, light grey jumpsuit with numerous pockets, and sneakers. His tousled hair adds to
his generally unkempt appearance. A small logo on his
chest says "Trinity", it seems a little newer than the rest of the
jumpsuit, it may have been sewn on later.
Mordred and Alice: Both are scruffy student types in their late teens,
the boy has longish brown hair and green eyes hidden behind thick
glasses, and is wearing a pair of combat trousers, a large black
woolly jumper and a pair of muddy Dr Martins. He's currently wolfing
down a burger and listening to Alice.
Alice has sort of short blonde hair and blue grey eyes and is wearing
blue jeans, a plain t-shirt, a leather jacket and equally muddy DMs.
In contrast to Mordred she seems to have cut her food up into small
pieces and is shuffling it around the plate.
There's also a pair of largish backpacks on the floor next to the
pair.

Kent Allard: someone who looks like
he took a wrong turn at pulp hero central casting; He's well above average
height, and built generally along the scale of some savage, overmuscled jungle
lord. But, for some reason, he's borrowed the wardrobe of a hard nosed
detective, right down to the fedora and the trenchcoat. He's a little too
craggy too be good looking, a little too shopworn to be memorable were it not
for his eyes, which are an odd shade of very light brown that could almost be
yellow.
Ozzie Fudd: he's
done his best on the "mad, bad, and dangerous to know" look, complete
with long lank black hair (although there are hints of a natural carrot-
top at the roots for the observant), a well-fringed and silver-studded
black leather jacket, a silver-studded broad black leather belt, black
jeans and Doc Martens. Unfortunately for him, he's rather too baby-
faced for the MBaDtK look to be particularly convincing, even with black
wraparound sunglasses, dangly silver cross earrings, and a stud in one
eyebrow.
He is carrying a shotgun-style guitar, black but inlaid with silver flames, and the back of his jacket sports Bugs Bunny strapped to a wheel with his limbs bent in a way limbs normally don't, and rather artistically drawn flames giving Bugs even more problems.
Jessie: She's in her late 20's, is
a slightly built, has dark frizzy hair and gray eyes. She dressed in a
lose denim jacket, a red silk shirt and patched denim jeans. On her
feet are an ancient pair of Birkenstock sandals.
Celeste Williamson: a woman in her late twenties, she very
attractive with long curly red hair and silver-grey eyes. She's
wearing a pretty summer dress of some material that you don't
recognise. She's wearing a pendant round her neck. She has a Floridian accent.
Susan: Her clothing is uniformly black - "uniform" being only a guess, as the
high-necked outfit lacks any decorative insignia but does not appear to have
been chosen for comfort. Long sleeves and pantlegs lead to black gloves and
polished black shoes (not boots) respectively. Set against this darkness are
her pale skin and unnaturally-brilliant red-gold hair, which is pulled up
into a high ponytail too young for her face.
