Emily BronteBackgroundFriend of Anne Cartwright. She has never forgiven her brother for the Embrace, although really she blames Marie and Lord Marcus. She hates Marie with a quiet but burning passion and would love to see her get her 'come-uppance'. She spend a great deal of time writing and has had many works published under pseudonyms. She prefers to avoid Kindred company but occasionally socialises with her few close friends. Emily spends a lot of time walking on the Moors and often writes or paints there. She has some occasional contact with the Garou around Haworth and has given them some gifts of paintings and poems she has made about them. Generally however, she avoids them, prefering her own company. ClanToreador, generation 10th, age "30", born, embraced 1848, by Branwell Bronte.ImageEmily wears rather Victorian clothing - long skirts and high necked blouses. She is very reserved and serious. She never talks about personal matters except with her very close friends (Anne Cartwright and Marielle). About the only thing she does talk about with animation is literature. InfluenceHas some influence with Anne Cartwright. Anne would be more than happy to help her with most things, but Emily wouldn't ask unless hard pressed.Secrets-HabitatEmily still lives in a cottage in Haworth. When she isn't writing, she loves to walk on the Moors. She has sometimes been seen wandering in the moonlight and the is something of a local legend around her as the 'ghost of Cathy', which Emily finds rather amusing. She usually feeds on tourists, ramblers or artists on the Moor, drawing them to her with her Presence.Ultimate GoalEmily doesn't enjoy her life as a Vampire, except that is had given her the opportuntiy to write a great deal. She thinks she would like to become mortal again but her detatchment and distance from mortal life means she finds it very hard to interact with them these days. She has never heard of Golconda and so increasingly she is thinking of entering Torpor for a while. She has not spoken of this to her friends.Immediate GoalEmily is slowly tidying up her affairs, with the eventual goal of entering torpor. She is finishing off her writing and paintings and looking for a safe and suitable site to sleep in. The most difficult part of this is deciding how she will tell her friends, because she knows that they will be upset at the idea.Resources- |
