Gary Rasher

After a middle-class upbringing, Gary went to university where he studied catering and nutrition. When he left university, Gary joined the RAF as a chef. During basic training he was also taught first aid, equipment maintainance and basic wilderness survival and also orienteering, which he enjoyed. Appart from six months overseas service during 'Operation Desert Storm' Gary has otherwise been stationed at Carterton in England. Before his Embrace, Gary was saving up in order to finance his retirement from the RAF.

Due to Gary's skill and reputation as a chef, the base commander at Brize Norton is willing to help him out most of the time. He have two close friends in Bradford, both from hisr university days. John Stevenson is a junior partner at the solicitors, Herbert Duxbury, Son & Co. in Bradford. Miraz Triggs, who Gary also knew at school, owns an electronics and computer shop "Bits, Bugs & Bytes". Gary and Miraz were in a band at school together and Gary still occasionally plays the guitar.

Gary was embraced by Rudy, a Sabbat Lascombra in January, 1996.

Physical Description

Age 26. Tougher and stronger than average, Gary is also very agile. In the RAF, he learned the basics of firearms and unarmed combat. Naturally athletic, he is good at most sports he has tried.

Characteristics

Charming, and with a good understanding of how people think, Gary knows how to act in most social situations. He is also more than willing to lie when needs be and can usually get away with it. Very brave and rather strong-willed,he has never had any difficulty in leading or supervising others and he has great powers of concentration. Although Gary has great self-control, he seldom feels the need to restrain himself from violence. Inflicting pain and suffering doesn't bother Gary at all - if anything, he rather enjoy it, expecially since his Embrace.
