Although her father moved on soon after her birth, she has met him several times over the years and she is proud of her Black heritage. She is deeply into the Earth Goddess, Paganism and such. When they met, Magpie quickly realised that there was something strange about Zena and followed and pestered her until she found out what it was. After that, nothing would satisfy her but the Embrace, which Zena eventually consented to perform. This illegal creation of a Childe was one of the precipitating causes of their flight to the fief of York. Magpie loves living in York. Despite her Sire's fervent protestations of admiration for the Werewolves, Magpie is the only Kindred other than Thorolf who regularly visits the Septs. She does this mostly in pursuit of mystic lore. Although the Garou viewed her with suspicion innitially, they are beginning to accept her. She is trying her hardest to get more access to the Caerns. However, she is very aware of the deep suspicion which exists between the Kindred and Garou. She understands that time is on her side so she is careful not to cause offence by pushing the issue. Like some of the younger Garou with whom she mostly associates, she is rather suspicious of Thorolf. Magpie belives that he is too closely connected to the Vampire Elders, whom she distrusts and dislikes. If it wasn't for her interest in the Garou, Magpie might well be considered more of an anarch than was desirable in the fief. However, Thorolf will protect her should any attempt be made to evict her from York. If any 'serious' anarch gangs developed in the city, then Magpie might well end up siding with them. However, they would have to be very pro-Garou as well.
