Mel Stein

Born in California, Mel moved to France at the age of five when his father was posted there as an assistant to the American ambassador. He still speaks French reasonable well. Always a keen actor Mel took lessons in France and then in England. He moved to the UK when his father was reassigned when Mel were twelve. He had walk-on extra parts and worked in adverts and as a cataloge model before getting his first speaking part at the age of eighteen.

Mel had been typecast in action movies for a while and took the lead role in a British film production of 'Wuthering Heights' in an attempt to break the mould. Although his movie career has paid quite well, Mel earned most of his large income through various leisure industry investments. His wealthy lifestyle was reflected in his hobbies - skiing and flying. Mel had planned to broaden his business interests and perhaps follow his father into politics, ambitions which were cut short by his Embrace

Mel was embraced by Miranda, a Sabbat Toreador in January, 1996. After the first meeting the Council of York, you were adopted by Anne Cartwright, a fellow Toreador and member of the Council.

Physical Description

Age 28, althletic build, handsome. Stronger and more agile than most, Mel has an exceptionally tough constitution. Fit without being bulky, he is a natural althlete. He is quick on your feet and his action film career has given him a basic knowledge of armed and unarmed combat, although he prefers guns to his fists.

Characteristics

Mel is notably perceptive and alert and quick to react in most situations. He is calm and not easily fazed. Although he often has trouble understanding people's motivations, he can sometimes tune in to their emotional state more easily. Brought up with a strong sense of right and wrong, Mel is not above the occasional fib.
